Attilio Maggiulli, director and playwright, is a renowned trainer on the commeda dell'arte tradizionale.
He founded and is the director of the Parisian theatre "La comédie italienne". This small theatre of a hundred seats stages decades of comedies by Italian authors of the past translated into French as well as composition texts by its director.
Located in the 14th arrondissement of rue de la Gaité, the theatre is notable for its baroque façade, today blue in color that remains unique and for which its director fights to maintain.
