Christine was born in South Africa. She has dual English and French nationality. Attracted to the period from the Middle-Ages to the Renaissance, she became interested in illumination.

Self-taught, Christine then trained in Paris with her teacher Peter from original texts. She does a truly sophisticated work on the parchment using natural pigments and gold. Her work has been exhibited in France and Morocco. She also restores manuscripts.

In addition, Christine conveys her passion to children through illumination discovery workshops.
